Newbie Blogger

Wow, I am a newbie at this. There is this weird awkward feeling, as I have no idea what to tell the world!

Let's see... I am at the ICN, studying to be a nurse. I have not decided a area in nursing, but as I've been praying and researching, I am feeling a tug towards something more serious, such as terminal areas. I have really felt called to either the Neonatal Intensive Care, or Pediatric Oncology (cancer). But who knows where God will lead?? He has this funny way of sitting back as I think I know what's best for me, then gently reminding me that He is the Almighty One and has it covered. So Lord, help me know what's best!

Next, I am currently training to run the Coeur d'Alene half marathon next May! I have always dreamt of doing it, but have yet to accomplish it. I doubt I'll write very much about this, but it's part of my ever-so-boring life right now.

Last, but most importantly, I am marrying my soulmate on January 16, 2010. The man of my dreams and my best friend -- who could ask for more? He is currently serving his term in Iraq (reason for a heart-wrenchingly long engagement!) as a brave soldier to uphold freedom in our country. He's my hero and I couldn't have asked for a better man. THANK YOU JESUS FOR JOEL.
